I use the
Rover" preamp from Ernst, it is a dutch hand build 4-channel tube preamp. It is a very versatile sounding stereo preamp with lots of parallel and serial inserting points for effect and pedals and a built in MIDI-interface. The power amp I use right now is the
Marshall 9200, its an affordable stereo power amp with two mono blocks, I think it sounds okay for the time being.
The effect processor I use is the
G-force from TC Electronics, so of course I dont need a lot of extra pedals on the floor except for the midi foot controllers, a volume pedal, an expression pedal and and the Vox wah-wah pedal.
For the full stereo sound I use two S12-D Bag End speaker cabinets. A lot times I use two Red boxes( DIs with a speaker simulator) for direct input into the P.A. system, especially when the sound guys dont have the right mikes or when I have two play in- ear, in that case of course, I dont need the power amp nor the speaker cabinets.
When I play acoustic I use the AER domino amp. Its a great sounding acoustic guitar amp. Its got four channels, different in- and outputs and a FX loop in which I plug in a very old quadraverb to add some space to the sound. I use my old western guitar equipped with a Fishman rare earth sound hole pick-up.
